Quebec Immigrant Investor Program


Program Requirements

  • Net assets of at least CAN $1,600,000 obtained legally excluding the a months receive by donation less than six months before the date on which the application is filled
  • Management experience of at least two years in the five years preceding the application foe selection certificate
  • Intend to settle in Quebec and sign an agreement to invest CAN $800,000 with a financial intermediary authorized to participate in the Investor Program, for a 5 year term at  0% interest.The investment is guaranteed by the  Quebec Government.

intake Period

Applications can be submitted between May 30, 2016 and February 28, 2017

A maximum of 1,900 applications will be accepted during the above-mentioned period (A maximum of 1.330 applications may be submitted by foreign nationals from the People’s Republic of China, including the administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao )

Investor applicants who demonstrate, by means of test recognized by the government, that they have an advance intermediate knowledge of French, are not subject to these rules can submit their application at any time until March 31, 2017. These applications will receive priority processing .

Basic Requirements

To be eligible for the Immigrant Investor Programs, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum net worth of C$1.6 million.

Governments Fees

Government application fees for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program are $ CAN15,000 (including the principle applicant and all accompanying dependents).
